189/365 – end of the summer

Yesterday was one of the first days in a long while that I wasn’t worried about anything. No anxiety about life in general. I was content – and that comes too few and far between.

It was the perfect summer day and to finish it all off – one of the best bonfires I have had in a long while. My friend had a heaping box of old high school projects. It was satisfying to see those papers go up in flames – even though they weren’t mine.

After, we went for a midnight swim at the beach I grew up at. With the blue moon glowing, it mystified the bay. It was magical.

Awesome way to end my summer break.
